Dashboards & Widgets

Overview

The Dashboard is your personal workspace inside Alphractal.
It allows you to create a custom view with metrics, text, videos, and images — giving you a single screen to track what matters most.

Every user can design their own dashboard, combine on-chain and market data, and save it as a unique analytical space.

Purpose

Dashboards help users organise information and visual content into a clear, data-driven layout.
They are ideal for traders, analysts, and institutions who want to monitor multiple indicators or present their own research in one place.

A dashboard can include:

  • Market and on-chain charts

  • Text notes or strategy explanations

  • Embedded videos (e.g., YouTube or Loom)

  • Images, tables, and external references

Each element is represented by a widget that can be resized, moved, or deleted at any time.

Key Features

1. Custom Layout

  • Drag and drop widgets anywhere on the grid.

  • Resize freely to focus on the most important content.

  • Combine different data types (metrics, text, video, image).

2. Metric Widgets

  • Add charts directly from the Metrics Library or Analytics.

  • Configure timeframes, resolutions, and colours.

  • Compare multiple assets (e.g., BTC vs ETH) in one chart.

3. Text & Media Widgets

  • Add Text Blocks to describe context or analysis.

  • Embed Images (logos, infographics, reports).

  • Insert Videos for presentations or tutorials.

  • Use Links to external resources or references.

4. Save, Share, and Duplicate

  • Save dashboards to your account.

  • Duplicate existing layouts for quick edits.

  • Export as image or PDF for reporting purposes.

  • Favourites and history make navigation easy.

Alphractal offers custom dashboards for crypto and TradFi projects, allowing teams to:

  • Display their own ecosystem data

  • Integrate proprietary metrics

  • Offer public dashboards for token holders or investors

How to Use

  1. Go to Dashboards → click New Dashboard.

  2. Name your dashboard and select a base layout.

  3. Add widgets using the “+ Add Widget” button.

    • Choose Metric, Text, Image, or Video.

  4. Resize and position widgets as needed.

  5. Click Save to store your layout.

Tips

  • Start with 3–5 widgets to keep your layout clean.

  • Combine text with charts to explain context.

  • Use consistent colour schemes for easier reading.

  • Create one dashboard per theme (e.g., Stablecoin, Market Structure, DeFi).

  • Save frequently while editing.
